What is a Dental Implant?
A dental implant restoration consists of 3 pieces, the implant, the abutment, and the crown/bridge. The dental implant is a device that replaces the root of a tooth. The dental implant heals to your jaw bone below your soft tissue. Once the implant has fully healed to the bone, an abutment is placed on the implant. The abutment can then be seen above the soft tissue and is used to connect a crown/bridge to the implant.
At The Dental Implant Aesthetic Center, we understand that patients want a final result that gives them back there natural smile and ability to eat the foods they enjoy. Our technology allows us to plan your replacement tooth/teeth before we place the implant, which allows us achieve implant restorations that look great and provide the best chewing function for our patients.
